|How to go:||From Champadali Bus strand, 81 no bus is going to Barrackpore – Barasat Road, Via – Nilganj. The same bus you will get from Barrackpore railway station if you are coming from Barrackpore side. You have to get down in Nilgunj hat. If you are going to Beraberia then you can get shared toto, which cost 10/15 per head. You have to get down at last telling them that you want to go to Bortir bill boating area. Four wheeler is also going till the end.|

Beraberia is another part of Bortir Bil which is also a vast cultivation area and also fishing paradise. This is also a joint of hanging out and spending quality time for local people also for the outsiders. In monsoon you can ride boat into the bil. In summer and winter these become a fertilized land for cultivation. Jute production is one of the main item here for cultivation. If you visit during Monsoon you will find series of jute has been stripping right beside the muddy road. The road across the field will give you different flavor than the other side of Bortir Bil (Sahapur). This is also a big boating area where the same land has been used for cultivation . So the fact is the same land is being used for both cultivation and boating in different season. During Monsoon and Winter you can visit this place to get different flavors. Taking beautiful pictures of skies, sunset and the water body is the main subject for a traveler.
Per boat max 3 person are allowed. They ask around 300 per person for a 30 min boating. Be careful once you ride on to the boat. It can flip anytime if you move in a wrong manner.
In Monsson local people open some temporary stall of fruits and snacks in this area. It is better to carry food and adequate drinking water with you. For food or any other essential thing you have to come back to Nijgunj More again.
