| How to go: | Shivakhola Nature camp From New Jalpaiguri railway station it is around 30 km, the route goes inside the beautiful Sukna forest-Rongton. Pradhan ji will arrange the car driver for you who will pick you up from NJP and drop you to the destination. They have small or big cars will be arranged as per your team volume. Another option, From NJP you can avail Toy train which will take you to the Rongton through Sukna forest taking 3 long hours.. Frankly the ride is just for one time experience. If you ever ride before, you can skip and hire a car. The nature camp is around 10 km from Rongton toy train railway station and 30 km from NJP. |

| What to visit ? | These places are for relaxation and birding mainly. So you barely find any visiting place but yes You will find Latpanchar, Mahananda wildlife etc. For those you have to extend the number of days. |

| More Information: | Brief - Shivakhola nature camp, 31 km away from NJP and you will pass through beautiful Sukhna forest and Rongton toy train station, is a camp where few nature tents along with some nature couch and a bar-b-q chimney have been organised besides the river. The beauty of campus remains changed along with season. Mr. DP Pradhan and Anand Lama are the two main figures who maintain and run the whole business also they are very fond of birds and nature. Best time to go Obviously November to January is the best season for bird lovers specially and one can visit the place from February to May too. Because of the altitude the weather remains pleasant in any season throughout the year. But remember July to mid September they keep the nature camp close generally. Activities
