More Information: | In the year of 1779, during the Mughal empire of Aurangzeb, Choudhury Murari Mohan Dasmahapatra who originally belonged to Athgarh-Odisha was rewarded a huge land in Pataspur Pargana which comes under unified Midnapur district due to his usefulness and service. He also owned the title ‘Choudhury’ from Mughal emperor. As the time flows, Murari Mohan built a royal constitution in that area for office work. Day by day several temples were built. The temples are based on Shikhara Deula architecture of Odisha, South Indian style.. Sri Sri Kishorai Jieu is now the family deity in Pachetgarh. Temples of PachetgarhSri Sri Kishorai Jiue Mandir and Jhulan mandir The structure of this temple is based on Shikhara Deula architecture of Odisha. Kishorai Jiue is the family deity of Pachetgarh. The temple area is divided into two adjacent premises. On the entrance you will find Dewan-e-khas which was once used for instruments and art practice for renounce people. Celebrations like Jhulan, Janmashtami, Rash Leela is being conducted in Jhulan mancha which is constructed in the middle of interconnected square formed building. This premises is connected to the Sri Sri Kishorai Jiue Mandir area where you will find 3 architecture. First one is ek-chala structure, second one is a Durga-dalan and third and main one is Odisha dekh deul structured Sri Sri Kishorai jieu temple which is constructed based on Kalinga architecture. The temple complex base is made of red fire brick with mortar binding of chun-surki. Pancheswar Shiva temple This temple was built during 1897-1907. South Indian style architecture throughout. There are 4 Shiva temple in 4 corner of a square and the main and big one in middle. The main driving force behind this temple goes to Late Choudhury Brajendra Nandan Dasmohapatra. He was deeply religious person. Another name come with this temple is Choudhury Upendra Nandan who used to be an Ayurvedic practitioner…. Sitala Devi Pancharatna Mandir Constructed during 1900-1903 for women of the village who wants to have Sitala idol as the Guardian protector god at the entrance of Rajbari premises.
