How to go:	Get the local train from Sealdah south section for Jayanagar Majilpur. Get down and come out from the station no 2, get shared auto for Nimpith Ramkrishna Ashram High School which is only 3 to 4 KM distance. From there get another auto, this time you may have to hire if you want to reach your destination directly, the distance is around 30 km and the road condition is some where not so good. But yes, by the time it will be in good condition. They might have ask around 300 rs. You can get local Buses (not so frequent) from Nimpith Ramkrishna Ashram also which will drop you in Jamtala, then again you have to get another shared auto for Kaikhali. Yes from Jamtala you will get shared auto. So the entire journey can be covered by local transport which is very much convenient.

More Information:	Nimpith - The basic concept is Nimpith and Kaikhali are related to each other. One has to get access from Nimpith ashram for Kaikhali tourist lodge. You have to call in Nimpith ashram and confirm the date for your stay in Kaikhali. The day you will be going to Nimpith, get lunch from the ashram and information for Kaikhali. Before lunch visit adjacent Ramakrishna mission's school and premises. There are lot to visit in there like Nimpith temple and gardens, artificial bee-hive, honey purification area, cow dorm, mushroom fertilization and many more. The lunch they start from 1 pm, it is absolutely amazing veg dishes you can have. After having lunch start journey for Kaikhali. Kaikhali The only stay in Kaikhali is the govt. lodge by West Bengal tourism. To be very frank, location wise it is amazing. Best part is most of rooms have river facing balcony. Each room has 2 separate single beds and western toilet felicities. Rooms are cleaned and simple good. Food quality is too good and the way they arrange plates and distribute food is absolutely organised. The wide open terrace is amazing to spend quality time. You can roam across the bank of river, this place is so good for walk and birding. This lodge cost 500 per head for a day, 1000 for two person dinner-breakfast-lunch till the next day. Kaikhali Ramakrishna Mission Ramakrishna Mission is adjacent to the lodge. Don't miss the evening aarti held by small village kids inside the mission temple around 5:30 pm. You can go and ask about the timing. The event is mesmerizing and unforgettable. It takes around 45 minutes to get ended up. Next day early morning you can visit inside the mission campus and see the kids daily activities. In winter you can expect decorative gardens and flowers maintained by mission authorities. Jharkhali camp Nearby visiting place is Jharkhali camp, where they have Tiger reserve camp. You have to hire big or small boat for that from the nearby jetty. The rate of boat is negotiable. It takes around 1 hour each up and down. The boat journey remains amazing whenever you go because of the fresh breeze of Matla river. Small boat expects 8-10 and big boat expects 20-22 people at a time. But son't worry, if you can arrange team talking to other people of the guests of lodge, you can form a team and visit the place. But frankly you can skip it and roam around the village itself.
