More Information: | Chandragiri is called mini Tibet of Odisha. Well by it's name it defines it's significance. There are 4/5 Major monastery in this area and most of those are very old by it's age. It is located in Gajapati district. During the exile of Dalai Lama from Tibet due to invasion of Chinese, Tibetan refugees came to this place and started living. Afterwards with the Indian government resettlement several number of camp were established in this area. You can spend enough time in this area because of the beautiful enviromment and landscape. If you visit during winter you will get to see land turns golden and lush green during monsoon. Within a single day you can wrap up and next day you can plan for Taptapani.
