| How to go: | Form Kolaghat take Kolaghata - Haldia road, then Contai - Nandakumar road upto Kanthi. From Kanthi it is 15 km only. You can take Junput road or Soula - Contai road. I would suggest to take Junput road, as the natural beauty blow your mind through out the road. |

| More Information: | There are 8/9 beaches in West Bengal through out East Coast. Even though all are connected with Bay Of Bengal still you will distinguish the beauty of their own. Few are over crowded in season or off season and few are always remain less crowded. If we want to go out for a short trip near by we will expect we can hear our own whisper. Baguran, Junput, Bakiput are like those. People now a days know about those beaches but due to less availabilities of accommodation they don't choose rather just visit for a hour or so. For this reason this part of costal area is pretty much cleaned. Stay To be very frank in Baguran there is one lodge named "Sagar Nirala" where you can get your accommodation. Pre booking is required during season. They also have fooding facilities inside their campus. Even though that is a bit costly but they maintain their quality. Costing is justified as they have their nearest market in Kanthi is 15 km away. They have enough room set up. The campus is very maintained and very much decorative. And sea shore is around 500 m away from the lodge. They have fooding and lodging package of 1300, 1500, 1700 INR in respect to room capacity. In package they provide limited yet good food. You can also go with out of package to get ample amount of food you need. This place is worth staying for 2 days. They can also have food in Sagar Nirala by giving preorder. Or You can contact and request Sekhar (+91 6238066572) and Chandan to get a different experience. They own a small shop in the beach. They can prepare chicken rice or omlette on request. Except that you have to come back to the city to get food. On the other hand you will find few roadside small shops on the way to Junput or Bakiput. Season These places are suitable for any season. As it is very near to Kolkata (168 km), people move there for a sudden change. By hiring car would be the best option for this kind of trip as you can explore as much as you can. |
