| Approximate size(adult): | A small leaf warbler, about 10–11 cm in length, with olive-green upperparts, yellowish underparts, a distinct pale supercilium (eyebrow stripe), and two whitish wingbars. |
| Resident/ Migrate from: | Long-distance migratory species — breeds in northern and northeastern Asia (mainly Siberia). |
| Migrate to: | Winters in the Indian subcontinent, particularly in the Western Ghats, Sri Lanka, and northeastern India. Seen in southern and central India during migration and winter months. |
| Breeding season: | May to July, during the northern summer in its breeding range. Builds a domed nest on or near the ground, often concealed among vegetation. |
| Breed in: | Coniferous and mixed forests of Siberia and northeastern Mongolia, typically in mountainous or hilly terrain. |
