| Approximate size(adult): | A small to medium-sized pipit measuring about 15–16 cm in length. It has brown streaked upperparts, a pale buff breast with dark streaks, and a slender pointed bill. It resembles the Meadow Pipit but has heavier streaking and a stronger face pattern. |
