| Habitat: | Dense, flooded, freshwater reedbeds (e.g. Phragmites), and also Typha, Scirpus, papyrus swamps. Uses lake shores, river margins, canals, ditches, rice fields, brackish lagoons, mangroves, and coastal mudflats. Elevation range from sea level up to ~ 1800 m. |
