| Approximate size(adult): | Small leaf warbler, about 10–11 cm long. It has bright green upperparts, yellow underparts, and a distinct yellowish supercilium (eyebrow line). Wings show two pale bars. Resembles Greenish Warbler but is slightly brighter and more yellow-toned. |
| Resident/ Migrate from: | Breeds in the western Himalayas and Caucasus region. Migrates southward after breeding. |
| Migrate to: | Winters in southern India and Sri Lanka; a regular passage migrant across the Indian subcontinent. |

| Breed in: | Nests on the ground or low shrubs, constructing a domed grass nest lined with feathers and soft materials. Usually lays 4–5 eggs. |
